Group D

Argentina and Chile will square off in a mouthwatering opening clash that is a repeat of the 2015 Copa America final. Chile won that one on penalty kicks on home soil and there may be little to choose between the two again. Messi has a point to prove as Argentina has never won a major tournament during his illustrious career.

While Panama and Bolivia are a class (or several) below the big two, the scheduling makes an upset qualifier from this group slightly more likely, especially if the Argentina-Chile game ends in a victory for either side.

Panama is capable of the occasional surprise, and has both toughness and belief, while Bolivia struggles on its travels and is a long shot to progress.
